The Mets start a four game series tonight against the Padres at 7:10. Here is what you should know about the Padres.

  • San Diego has been awful this season, and at 51-64, they are 12 games back in their division and 15 back in the Wild Card. They are 28-28 on the road this season.
  • Cameron Maybin has been their best hitter this season, with a team high six home runs and 28 RBI, second on the team. He is hitting .273 on the season with 26 stolen bases. He is hitting .317 on the road.
  • Aaron Harang, who the Mets will face in the third game of the series, is leading the Padres in wins, with 10. Harang is 10-3 on the season with a 3.91 ERA.
