Capuano is 1-0 with a 6.23 ERA in his last three starts (17.1 innings) and is a career 1-3 against Arizona with a 3.77 ERA.
Marquis has been awful since coming to Arizona, allowing 15 total runs in eight innings. He started against the Mets on April 10 and allowed three runs on seven hits while striking out nine.
Needs to step up: Angel Pagan
Pagan needs to step up or get out. The Mets aren’t really in contention anymore, but if Pagan wants to earn a spot on the team net year, he has to impress Terry Collins and play well for the remainder of the season.
