Johan Santana threw three scoreless innings in a rehab start in High-A Port St. Lucie. Santana threw 33 pitches, 26 of them strikes. He allowed two hits and hit a batter. He also struck out three. Terry Collins still expects Santana to be back with the Mets in late August. However, according to Mets Blog, Santana is nothing close to what he was before the injury. Hopefully he will be back and as good as ever, but it seems unlikely.
