According to a report by ESPN New York’s Adam Rubin, Major League Baseball commissioner Bud Selig said today that it there is a “good chance” that Citi Field will play host to the 2013 All-Star game. According to the report, which you can read here, the MLB’s plan was to have the 2008 All-Star game in Yankee Stadium in it’s last year, and then bring it back to New York once Citi Field opened. The last All-Star game hosted by the Mets was in 1964 at Shea Stadium.
