Gee allowed just three hits and two runs on the way to his ninth win of the year on Monday.
Sanchez gave up two runs in the first inning against the Padres in his last start against the Padres, but settled down and didn’t allow a run over the next five innings. However, the Padres shut out the Marlins, so Sanchez got the loss. He hasn’t recorded a win since June 10.
