Notes: Despite having arguably the worst season of his career, Tim Lincecum shut down the Mets last night, tossing six innings, allowing just one run on four hits and four walks. The Giants bullpen shut down the Mets for the next three innings, holding the Mets hitless and only one walk. Capuano also pitched well, allowing two runs in the first inning, but then settling down and not allowing a run for the rest of his outing. bobby Parnell came in after Capuano and let the Giants score once more, to put them up 3-1.
