Jose Reyes was placed on the disabled list earlier today by the Mets with the injury (strained hamstring) suffered against the Yankees last weekend. ESPN writer Enrique Rojas tweeted earlier today that doctors are telling Reyes he will be out for three weeks.

Nick Evans will take the place of Reyes on the roster.
Reyes was placed on the 15 day DL retroactive to July 3.
